BWA Courier Frequently Asked Questions

We receive a fair number of questions regarding courier and delivery services, as well as the services that we offer to our customers.  Below you’ll find our most frequently asked questions and their answers.

Can you transport medicine or other medical equipment?
We certainly can.  We have vans and trucks that can accommodate your needs for larger packages than the standard envelope or box.  We do not transport organs, blood or other hazardous medical waste, but will be happy to help transport any other non-hazardous equipment and packages for you.  Please pack medication in protective envelopes or boxes, and mark them for our drivers to handle with care.

It’s 3 PM and I need to deliver a package to the other side of town by 5 PM.  Can you help?
Absolutely.  Of course, it’s best to schedule a pickup or delivery as soon as possible, so we can arrive safely, pick up your package, and deliver it on time, but we excel in these kinds of situations as well.  We know the business world doesn’t run according to “best-case scenarios.”  Call us as soon as you know you need a pick up and delivery, and we will get your package to its destination on time.

What areas do you provide delivery services in?
We’re proud to service the Annapolis, Baltimore, D.C. and Northern Virginia areas.  Give us a call if you have a location you’re not sure qualifies as being in our service delivery area.

What payment options and methods do you prefer?
We can work with you to create an invoice method for our services, whether you need us once a month, or daily.  Currently we take American Express, MasterCard, Debit Cards, Money Orders, Personal Checks, and Cash for these invoices.

Our offices would like to schedule daily pickups and deliveries of interoffice documents and other media.  Can we schedule this with you?
Certainly.  We can provide one or more drivers to pick up and deliver interoffice mail for your offices.  Depending on your office locations, this service may take as few as 3 hours, or as many as 8, but we can develop the schedule and invoicing method that works for your office budget as well as your needs.

I need to get something to another state by tomorrow.  Can you help? 
In most circumstances, we can help broker your overnight packages to other states, and across the nation.  Give us a call for your specific needs, and we can assess your situation and develop the plan that will work for you.
